Oh man, that's a toughie. But Toothless from the HTTYD films has been one of my favorite characters for a long time.

Haku from Spirited Away is also fantastic.

Probably one of the more obscure ones is Landia from the Kirby games (specifically Kirby's Return to Dreamland and its remake, the latter of which is so damn good oh my gosh), who is a very surprising character with a fantastically somber boss theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oDWSnLJ4Xt8

Galore from Flight Rising is an icon! Handsome guardian dragon who hands out gifts from his hoard C:


Joxar had always been my most favorite from Flight Rising..he makes special items for the festivals in flight rising and just is so fun and also there's this image of him hanging out in Galore's beard..they are totally boyfriends and you cannot change my mind


and i also gotta mention Fiona, Flight Rising's animal hoarder asdfs she's really fun and helpful on the site too c:


and then for classic movie dragons i really love Maleficent's design!! I'm not super familiar with the movie honestly i know her from Kingdom Hearts more than anything and even then that's pretty distant in my memory now but I just think she looks so cool and like..the height of fairy tail villainesses honestly

and also omg all the spyro redesigned guys! they have sooo much personality despite having basically no roles asadfsd they put so much effort into their designs..my dream is that somehow they get to play bigger parts eventually and maybe design some equally diverse women dragons while they're at it haha,,
anyway my faves from those are Cyprin and Maximos!


I could definitely list even more ddsafs all the Dragon Tales cast were really special in my childhood, i love the neopets designs and individual flight rising breeds (and even more fr npcs/deities i didn't list) and then the other classics like Smaug and Dragon (Shrek)...there's just so many good dragons out there haha

Ah yeah, Flight Rising has so many wonderful dragon characters! Pinkerton's probably my favorite, he's such a lovable grouch!

My favorite breed is the Undertide! I love the chimerization of snake and leafy sea dragon, it makes a fantastic sea serpent design!

I think my personal favorite of the Spyro dragons is Cleetus, I really love the swampy details in his design! But Cosmos and Lateef are also lovely.
And since you mentioned Pokemon, my top 6 are: the Frigibax line, Latiaos, the Dratini line, Giratina, Koraidon, and the Deino line. (I kinda group the entire evolutionary line together because my mind's weird) I don't want to make this message gigantic, so I won't put any more pictures, sorry!

oohh @WyvereWings those are fun choices!! Undertides are definitely underrated, it's cool to have a sea serpenty breed c: great spyro picks too, Cleetus is fun, i love swampy designs too! and oooh i'm glad to see the Frigibax line get love! I'm still not used to a lot of the new pokemon tbh but I will always approve of new ice dragons haha (and no worries, totally fine to group evo lines together! I do that too with Arcanine/Growlithe and Rufflet/Braviary haha)
