We’ve been working on a video editing project using the freeware we’ve collected on our computer over the past few years. For the most part, we’ve been using blender. For some reason, the particular clip we were trying to work on wouldn’t import into blender. We mostly just needed to shorten it. We felt a bit stuck
Well in a fit of inspiration, we remembered that we also have vlc installed. We’ve mostly used it to play video files in the past but we’ve heard it can be pretty useful. So we mess around with the features and do some research
It turns out you can clip videos in vlc! We had absolutely no idea until recently. Thank god for vlc! Saved our ass

VLC my beloved
She can do anything
VLC has been my goto for anything audio/visual for years. However
I didn't know you could clip videos with it. I will have to remember that
