I'm not sure this is possible and it's really just a minor quality of life thing for me haha

but I was wondering if it would be possible to have the reply box in threads show up on the same page as the thread itself instead of directing you to a page specifically to reply? it's a lot easier to respond to a thread when you are still on the same page as the thread for me haha. For now it's not really that bad to just hit back and then open the reply page in a new tab, but I'm guess I'm so used to Flight Rising's forums that i'll have to try and get in the habit haha

if that ramble doesn't make any sense here are pics for what i mean

the reply box is there underneath the last post of the thread so I can easily see the other comments while typing up a response!

like i said its pretty minor since I can have the thread open in another tab and look back if I need to, but for quick replies it is nice to not have to play with multiple tabs haha

If I knew what extension FlightRising uses for this then I would implement it here too (assuming they arn’t using a homemade custom extension for theirs)

You can scroll down under your text box when replying and see the previous chats down there, I know it shows at least the last 5.

PHPBB by default has it the way it is on here; I have a few small extensions, and a custom style, but otherwise this site is the basic PHPBB experience

OMG i totally missed that it shows you the thread under the textbox. that's definitely convenient and pretty much solves this imo haha. thank you!
